In about 4 hours, you could learn how to become a much more efffective thinker, how to multiply your sales tenfold, and how to grow your business tenfold!

You can upgrade the software in your brain!

The Alexa traffic chart for JustBeenPaid! below provides an example of how a business can grow when the principles and methods of Michael Hewitt-Gleeson and Edward dr Bono are applied.

(The decline at the end of August, 2011 was due to JustBeenPaid! (JBP) being offline for more than a week during a transition to larger offshore servers.)

For another view of JBP's traffic statistics, Click Here. Then click "Traffic Stats" and "Reach." To see how JBP is doing in various parts of the world, under "Country" click "More." "United Sates - 1,619" indicates that, in terms of traffic from visitors in the USA, JBP is among the top 1,700 websites.

To see how JBP's online traffic compares to that of Ford Motor Co., just below the above chart, enter "ford.com" and click "Compare."

Notes on the 6 Thinking Hats

#1. White Hat: What information is available, needed, or missing? How do we get the information?

#2. Red Hat: Signals from intuition, feelings, emotions; gut feeling; non-judgmental free expression.

#3. Black Hat: Caution, risk assessment, critical evaluation, difficulties, dangers. Warning: Don't overuse! Natural mechanism in the brain -- Behavioral Inhibition System (BIS) -- see Page 6.

#4. Yellow Hat: Logical positive, benefits, value sensitivity, how to make it work; need to develop skills to do it. De Bono says there's no natural mechanism in the brain for the yellow hat. This could be because many people simply haven't developed it -- the reward circuit, or medial forebrain bundle (MFB) -- see Page 6.

#5. Green Hat: Creative, new ideas, alternatives, lateral thinking, provocation, hypothesis, vision, possibilities (most important); non-judgmental free expression.

#6. Blue Hat: Overview, summaries, think in parallel, looking at thinking itself, thinking processes, how do we define situation?, decisions, next step, outcomes (what do we end up with?)

Additional Hats

#7. MBI Hat: "MBI" = make-or-break issue. Think of a car with a broken drive shaft. If you put in a new engine that's 10 times more powerful, it won't make the car run. For practical purposes, the more powerful engine won't make any difference.

You need to fix the broken drive shaft first!

An MBI could be the "Bomb in your Brain."

It could be an overriding "I Can't" program -- see "Why-Can-Do Booster."

It could be "Psychological Reversal." If you don't fix this "broken drive shaft" (MBI) first, you may sabotage all your own efforts to become more successful.

#8. Planning Hat: This is the hat you wear when you delineate the steps necessary to move from "A to Z."

#9. Choas Hat: See Timothy Leary - How to Operate Your Brain.

#10. Question-Everything Hat: This is the form of thinking that can help you "escape from everything!" What if the entire coercive political system is at bottom a hoax and a scam? See The Government Hoax and Political Observation #7.

What if the supposed "US Constitution" is really a fraud and a hoax that doesn't authorize or bind anyone? Google: Lysander Spooner.

When politicians "make laws," exactly what do they make? Can I see or touch their supposed "laws?" Can I put them in my mouth?

What if 9/11 was an inside job (a "false-flag operation") and the "brave soldiers" are really dupes who fight so Boeing, Halliburton, and other military suppliers can earn billions?

This form of thinking may help you arrive at Tony Parsons: The Open Secret.

Personal Competence and Power Shift (PCAPS)

"If you deliberately plan to be less than you are capable of being, then I warn you that you will be deeply unhappy for the rest of your life. You will be evading your own capacities, your own possibilities." -- Abraham Maslow

Personal Incompetence & Powerlessness

Edited from an email from "R.T." to Frederick Mann:

"In all I've tried, I haven't made anything work. I'm not worth s_ _t for anything.

I cannot...

  • Find qualifed leads/prospects;
  • Sponsor/recruit anyone into anything;
  • Market, locate, refer, sign-up, teach, mentor, or anything.

I've been searching, reading, and studying. I've seen sooooooooooo much, but I still know nothing!

I'm sad, depressed, obsessed, and fruitless...

I respectfully ask for your help. Can you help me... make more money? If you can, show me, I will do my part." -- R.T.

Personal Competence and Power Shift (PCAPS)

Consider a 0-10 scale with "R.T." (left) at zero and "S.C." (right) at ten. R.T. represents the "98% who typically fail to make money online" (though, most "98%ers" are probably in better shape than R.T.). S.C. represents the "2% who typically succeed at making good money online."

Two kinds of factors separate "R.T.s" (or "98%ers") from "S.C.s" (or "2%ers"):

  1. Intellectual, Psychological & Emotional Barriers (Disadvantages);

  2. Knowledge & Skills (Advantages).

PCAPS (Personal Competence and Power Shift) has to do with:

  1. Overcoming Intellectual, Psychological & Emotional Barriers (Reducing Disadvantages);

  2. Acquiring Knowledge & Skills (Increasing Advantages).

S.C. Provides an example of someone who made his own PCAPS (Personal Competence and Power Shift). For four more notable examples, see:

  1. Mike Dillard;
  2. John Reese;
  3. How a Truck Driver became Financially Independent.

Personal Competence & Power

Edited from an email from "S.C." to Frederick Mann:

"I discovered your websites two years ago. At that point I was almost $20,000 in debt (my girlfriend was minus $50,000). I was convinced I had been effectively converted to slave status... Within two months I stopped all collection action on my girlfriend's debt. Within a year my own debt was completely eliminated and no longer did I view myself as a slave. As I approach the two-year anniversary [of my discovery of your websites], I can report that I now have $50,000 working for me, primarily offshore. My debt is zero! ...I'm not going to pretend that I owe it all to Frederick Mann or his websites, but at the same time... I can only encourage everyone to study diligently BuildFreedom.com, BigBooster.com, and their recommended readings." -- S.C.

Victim Mentality

Personal Competence and Power Shift (PCAPS)

Champion Mentality

Arrogance, Denial, and Status Barrier

Among the biggest obstacles to success may be arrogance. Have you heard contestants on the American Idol TV show announce that they are the "next American Idol." Then they start "singing" and the judges tell them to stop because they just can't sing. Then they insult the judges for being "too dumb" to recognize their "talent." These are examples of arrogance -- thinking that you're much better than you really are and being proud of it.

As singers, many American Idol contestants are severely disadvantaged. They deny this. As singers they're incompetent. They deny this. Because they think they can already sing, it blocks them from learning to sing.

Considerable research indicates that the more incompetent people are, the more they tend to overestimate their level of competence.

If in some area you think your "win-lose switch" is at "7," when it's actually at "1," this may prevent you from learning, practicing, or doing whatever necessary to become more competent in that area. A combination of denial and arrogance could be involved.

In order to feel OK about themselves, some people pretend that they know more, understand more, and are more competent than they really are. They pretend to have a higher status than they really have. This "false status" prevents people from asking questions (admitting ignorance), learning, understanding, and becoming more competent. The phenomenon could be called the "status barrier." An excellent book on the topic: Status Anxiety by Alain de Botton.

Your Win-Lose Switch

Your Win-Lose Switch

Consider that you have a master "win-lose switch" in your mind. It's a graduated switch like those used for big direct-current electric motors. Rather than just "on" and "off" settings, it's a graduated switch with eleven settings from "0" to "10."

If you set your master switch to "zero," you are completely turned off -- a total loser. R.T. (above left), at the time he wrote his email, had set his "win-lose switch" to "zero!" The consequence is no money. The "98%ers" (who typically make little or no money online,) have set their "win-lose switches" to low levels.

If you set your master switch to "ten," you are the complete winner. S.C. (above right), at the time he wrote his email, had set his "win-lose switch" to a high level. The consequence is lots of money. The "2%ers" (who typically make good money online,) have set their "win-lose switches" to high levels.

How do you move your switch to a higher setting? In the case of the big DC motor, as the switch is turned up, more electricity is supplied and the motor runs faster. How do you turn up your switch, become more energetic, and take more effective action? You Study and Apply the Killer Success Techniques!

Of course, there isn't just one master switch that measures the extent to which you win or lose in life. You can think in terms of a win-lose switch in every area of your life you care to specify. For example, you can think in terms of your health win-lose switch, your relationship win-lose switch, your Internet moneymaking win-lose switch, etc.

Your "Personal Competence and Power Shift (PCAPS)" consists of the Actions You Take to move your win-lose switches to higher levels. This may involve Shifting from a Victim Mentality to a Champion Mentality!

Basic Success Technique #37:
Achieve "Actual Freedom"

"Richard Actualist" is the founder of Actual Freedom. We describe part of his experience in our own words. For the complete text, see "A Brief Personal History."

Richard's experience was far more than an intellectual understanding. It was also deeply emotional and visceral, and shook him to his core.

Richard's questioning of life, the universe, and what becoming a completely free human being entails, started in June 1966 at age nineteen. At the time his body was inhabited by an "identity" with an extensive repertoire of feelings. A Buddhist monk in religious robes killed himself gruesomely as Richard watched by dousing himself with gasoline and setting it on fire.

The monk represented the "spiritual way to peace." Richard was a soldier in uniform, with a loaded rifle in his hand. He represented the "secular way to peace."

This was a major turning point in Richard's life. He had been raised to believe in "God, Queen, and Country." [All false idols ("cultural garbage") he would later cleanse from his brain -- as suggested by Krishnamurti. To make it easier to grasp this, consider what Don Miguel Ruiz wrote in The Four Agreements: "Humans are dreaming all the time... The dream of the planet includes all of society's rules, its beliefs, its laws, its religions, its different cultures and ways to be, its governments, schools, social events, and holidays... We are living in a dream of hell... It is as if we live in the middle of a fog that doesn't let us see any further than our own nose... Children are domesticated the same way that we domesticate a dog, a cat, or any other animal. In order to teach a dog we punish the dog and we give it rewards. We train our children whom we love so much the same way we train any domesticated animal: with a system of punishment and reward... [W]e start pretending to be what we are not, just to please others, just to be good enough for someone else... We pretend to be what we are not because we are afraid of being rejected. The fear of being rejected becomes the fear of not being good enough... We become a copy of Mamma's beliefs, Daddy's beliefs, society's beliefs, and religion's belief... All our normal tendcies are lost in the process of domestication... We didn't choose these beliefs and we may have rebelled against them, but we were not strong enough to win the rebellion. The result is surrender to the beliefs with our agreement. I call this process the domestication of humans... The domestication is so strong that at a certain point in our life we no longer need anyone to domesticate us... We are so well trained that we are our own domesticator. We are an autodomesticaed animal... Our personal power is dissipated by all the agreements we have created, and the result is that we feel powerless. ...[W]e have many agreements that make us suffer, that make us fail in life." [emphasis added]]

Richard was shocked by the inhumanity of what both he and the monk had been doing. The political treatment of "subject citizens" was driven home to him, leaving him with a sick revulsion. He was appalled, horrified, terrified, and repulsed to his core.

Richard later realized that no one really knew what was going on. Nobody was really "in charge" of the world. There was nobody to "save" the human race. He saw that all supposed "gods" were false idols, figments of feverish imaginations. Richard saw and understood that he was as "guilty" as everybody else. There was "good" and "bad" in everyone. Some people were better at controlling their "dark side." But the "control" vanished during war and "evil" ran rampant.

Richard saw that the world was ruled by fear, aggression, nurture, and desire... and that he had been born with these instincts. He decided to change himself fundamentally, radically, and completely -- to free himself from the "Human Condition."

In September 1981, Richard achieved "Spiritual Enlightenment" after an earnest and intense process that started in the January of that year. His "ego" disappeared completely duringo an awakening to "Absolute Reality." He lived in this "Enlightened State" for eleven years... with an intense conviction that someone had to develop the way that would "deliver the goods" so people could free themselves from the "Human Condition."

Then, in October 1992, Richard achieved Actual Freedom -- a condition very different from "Enlightenment" and a long way beyond it -- a permanent and actual condition of complete emancipation and autonomy -- no longer any sorrow or malice to rise above or transcend. He is no longer driven to "save the world," yet is free to speak with anyone genuinely interested in becoming totally free from the "Human Condition": sadness, loneliness, sorrow, grief, depression, suicide, corruption, domestic violence, rape, torture, murder, etc.

Among other things, Richard discovered the perfection, purity, and peace of being alive as a Flesh-and-Blood Body that has Come to its Senses. It required Determination, Dedication, Pure Intent, and Perseverance to dismantle his Social Identity, causing a mutation of consciousness.

Richard anticipated that Actual Freedom could spread like a chain-letter, bringing about global freedom and revolutionizing the concept of humanity. There would be a worldwide free association of people, a utopian-like loose-knit affiliation of like-minded individuals, citizens of the world. No more "sovereign states"; no "countries" with artificial borders; no military; no nationalism or patriotism; no police forces; no locks on the doors, no bars on the windows; no judges, juries, or jails; people living together in peace and harmony, happiness, and delight.

But none of this matters much once you live freely in the Actual World. In Actual Freedom, life is experienced as perfect as-it-is here on earth. The universe does not force anyone to be happy and harmless, to live in peace and ease, to be free of sorrow and malice. So the denizens of the Delusional World are likely to continue on their tried and failed ways.

So Richard now lives in peace and tranquillity; beholden to none; no loyalty to bind him; nothing to defend; no need to attack; no sense of mission to "change the world"; not driven by mystical forces to evangelize, proselytize, or convert; yet available to assist anyone genuinely interested in freedom from the "Human Condition." This is an actual freedom. It is possible to be actually free, here on earth, as this body, in this lifetime. (Adapted from A Brief Personal History.)

Actual Freedom (How to Become Free from the Human Condition)

Getting to grips with Actual Freedom is quite a challenge. Some key pages:

General

Instincts, Passions & Emotions

The Basic Process

The basic process to move toward Actual Freedom is the question: "How am I experiencing this moment of being alive?" (HAIETMOBA).

What is the answer to the haietmoba?

It's is an experiential answer. You keep on asking yourself until it becomes a non-verbal attitude or a wordless approach to life, how you're experiencing this moment of being alive... how you're personally participating in the events which are occurring at this particular moment that you're alive...

You may want to compare haietmoba to Gendlin's "Focusing" Technique.

You could also experiment with: "How does this Flesh-and-Blood Body experience this moment of being alive?" (HDTFABBETMOBA).

Gendlin's "Focusing" Technique

Gendlin's Vast Space

Text accompanying video (edited): "Psychologist and philosopher Eugene Gendlin devised a technique he refers to as 'Focusing,' which allows individuals to develop a 'felt sense' of their bodily responses to information and circumstances. A key metaphor within this technique is that of 'space'; problems and issues are conceptualized as objects within an imaginary space of mind, separate from the self."

"Our brains and bodies know far more than is normally available to us. We are conscious of only a fragment of what we deeply know. The central nervous system perceives and processes a great body of information that is stored outside the range of everyday awareness... The complex body-mind can provide new steps. Our deepest bodily knowledge can be welcomed and then lived further. Focusing, whose steps are described with care and clarity, taps and articulates new subliminal knowing. It befriends and listens to "the body," a term Gendlin uses comprehensively to mean the total brain-mind environment as we sense it." -- Marilyn Ferguson (Introduction to Focusing by Eugene T. Gendlin, Ph.D.

Dr. Eugene Gendlin's "Focusing" Technique

"Focusing" is a profound yet simple technique developed by Eugene T. Gendlin, Ph.D. (philosopher and psychologist at the University of Chicago) to get in touch with your feelings and to allow your body to help you to free yourself from anything you're stuck in by using a special kind of "inward attention" called the "felt sense."

Part One of the book Focusing is called: "Unlocking the Wisdom of Your Body." According to Gendlin, "It will enable you to find and change where your life is stuck, cramped, hemmed in, slowed down. And it will enable you to change -- to live from a deeper place than just your thoughts and feelings."

Gendlin writes, "No longer need the change process be in charge of therapists. People can do it for themselves and with each other... Human problems are by their very nature such that we are each inherently in charge of ourselves. No authority can resolve our problems or tell us how to live. Therefore I and others have been teaching more and more people to help themselves and each other."

From the Fact Sheet: "Focusing is a mode of inward bodily attention that most people don't know about yet. It is more than being in touch with your feelings and different from body work... Focusing occurs exactly at the interface of body-mind. It consists of specific steps for getting a body sense of how you are in a particular life situation. The body sense is unclear and vague at first, but if you pay attention it will open up into words or images and you experience a felt shift in your body... In the process of Focusing, one experiences a physical change in the way that the issue is being lived in the body. We learn to live in a deeper place than just thoughts or feelings. The whole issue looks different and new solutions arise."

The Focusing technique consists of Six Steps:

  1. Clearing a space. What I will ask you to do will be silent, just to yourself. Take a moment just to relax . . . All right -- now, inside you, I would like you to pay attention inwardly, in your body, perhaps in your stomach or chest. Now see what comes there when you ask, "How is my life going? What is the main thing for me right now?" Sense within your body. Let the answers come slowly from this sensing. When some concern comes, DO NOT GO INSIDE IT. Stand back, say "Yes, that's there. I can feel that, there." Let there be a little space between you and that. Then ask what else you feel. Wait again, and sense. Usually there are several things.

  2. Felt Sense. From among what came, select one personal problem to focus on. DO NOT GO INSIDE IT. Stand back from it. Of course, there are many parts to that one thing you are thinking about -- too many to think of each one alone. But you can feel all of these things together. Pay attention there where you usually feel things, and in there you can get a sense of what all of the problem feels like. Let yourself feel the unclear sense of all of that.

  3. Handle. What is the quality of this unclear felt sense? Let a word, a phrase, or an image come up from the felt sense itself. It might be a quality-word, like tight, sticky, scary, stuck, heavy, jumpy or a phrase, or an image. Stay with the quality of the felt sense till something fits it just right.

  4. Resonating. Go back and forth between the felt sense and the word (phrase, or image). Check how they resonate with each other. See if there is a little bodily signal that lets you know there is a fit. To do it, you have to have the felt sense there again, as well as the word. Let the felt sense change, if it does, and also the word or picture, until they feel just right in capturing the quality of the felt sense.

  5. Asking. Now ask: what is it, about this whole problem, that makes this quality (which you have just named or pictured)? Make sure the quality is sensed again, freshly, vividly (not just remembered from before). When it is here again, tap it, touch it, be with it, asking, "What makes the whole problem so ______?" Or you ask, "What is in this sense?"... If you get a quick answer without a shift in the felt sense, just let that kind of answer go by. Return your attention to your body and freshly find the felt sense again. Then ask it again... Be with the felt sense till something comes along with a shift, a slight "give" or release.

  6. Receiving. Receive whatever comes with a shift in a friendly way. Stay with it a while, even if it is only a slight release. Whatever comes, this is only one shift; there will be others. You will probably continue after a little while, but stay here for a few moments... IF DURING THESE INSTRUCTIONS SOMEWHERE YOU HAVE SPENT A LITTLE WHILE SENSING AND TOUCHING AN UNCLEAR HOLISTIC BODY SENSE OF THIS PROBLEM, THEN YOU HAVE FOCUSED. It doesn't matter whether the body-shift came or not. It comes on its own. We don't control that.

You're welcome to find your own best process -- "No knowledge can push you out of the driver's seat of your life. Especially not our knowledge here, which is to be about finding your own process!" Several Focusing Teachers have developed their own Versions of the Process.

Self-Development Techniques that Can Be Adapted and Improved

Reboot Your Brain and Improve Your Whole Life!

Earlier in his life, John Reese had been on a path that led him to a stage where he was over $108,000 in debt. He felt depressed and suicidal. Then he stumbled on a "procedure" that enabled him to change direction to a new path that made success possible. He turned his life around, became a well-known and respected millionaire Internet marketer. He has since, over a period of about 15 years, refined the initial procedure into a "comprehensive method" you can literally use to "reboot your brain!"

John Reese ~ Reboot Your Brain

Click to play video. Will open in a new window. Please wait while the Screencast loads. (Meanwhile, you can continue reading this page.)

You can use the reboot-your-brain method to pinpoint your most important tasks, to become more productive and effective, to earn more money, and to improve any area of your life.

There may be "hundreds of thoughts stuck in your brain." These "stuck thoughts" cause stress and anxiety, and reduce your ability to make good decisions. Generally, you're unaware of many of the "stuck thoughts" -- rebooting your brain brings them to awareness and enables you to "dump" them.

The more action you take, doing things, the more results (failures and successes) you produce. All your results are assets because you can learn from them (both failures and successes).

You can achieve an ongoing progression of incremental improvement.

The biggest improvements come from getting your mind right at a deep level -- which happens automatically if you persist.

Reboot your brain at least once a month!

Are You Starving Yourself of Success?

By Noah St. John

On October 20, 1997, my life was changed forever. That night, I went to a seminar on eating disorders. Although I didn't have an eating disorder, I'd known many people who had suffered from anorexia or bulimia, and I thought the seminar might shed some light on what caused these conditions.

The speaker at the seminar began to describe why someone develops an eating disorder, and said that these individuals are not merely trying to lose weight or look like a supermodel. Rather, she described a person who was hypersensitive, felt overly responsible for everyone else's feelings, and suffered from a deeply negative self-image. All these factors combined caused the person to simply refuse to eat.

In short, the person wasn't starving herself to lose weight -- but in an attempt to "not be here." Her research had also shown that eight times as many women develop eating disorders as men. After I heard this description, I said to myself, "Wow, that sounds just like me!" Even though I'd won numerous scholarships, awards and accolades, I had often wondered what I was doing on Earth and certainly felt responsible for everyone else's happiness. "Why, then," I asked myself, "did I not develop an eating disorder? And why do eight times as many women develop eating disorders as men?"

All of a sudden, I knew the answer to both questions. It was the moment my life made sense for the first time. I suddenly realized that women in Western culture have been told - and believe unconsciously - that their worth or value as a person comes from their physical appearance. At the same time, men are taught that their worth comes from their material possessions, status, or level of success. In that instant, I realized that rather than starving myself of food, I was starving myself of "success."

I sat there, stunned, because I realized that I had just discovered what really causes the so-called "fear of success" and "self-sabotage." The cause was a condition that no one had ever identified before, and that therefore didn't even have a name. I realized that the most accurate name for this condition would be "success anorexia" - because rather than not being smart or talented enough to achieve success, the person is literally starving herself or himself of success.

Here is a simple way to see if you may be suffering from success anorexia (starving yourself of success). How many of the following descriptions can you identify with?

1. I read lots of self-help books but can't seem to use them to improve my own life.

2. I'm insecure about money or I'm making much less than I should be making.

3. I'm in a job that doesn't allow me to express my real talents or true level of ability.

4. I expect myself to be perfect all the time.

5. I try to be all things to all people.

6. I find it very easy to start projects and very hard to finish them.

7. I feel guilty saying "no" to other people.

8. I'm more comfortable watching others succeed than letting myself succeed.

9. I usually feel like I'm not doing enough, even when I'm doing all I can.

10. I feel responsible for everyone else's feelings.

11. I often let others win, even when I could easily win.

12. I have a very low opinion of myself, even though other people tell me I'm smart, funny, and capable.

13. I usually settle for crumbs, even though I know I deserve better.

If you can identify with 6 or more of these warning signs, you may be at risk for success anorexia. To reverse success anorexia and allow yourself to succeed, here are some steps you can begin today:

Identify Your Loving Mirrors

A Loving Mirror is someone who can see you for who you really are, someone who can love and support you unconditionally. While this may sound "touchy-feely," we all need the loving encouragement of someone like a coach, teacher, or mentor to become all we can be.

Make a list of the people in your life who can offer you unconditional support. Then call them and ask them to help you list your strengths and understand your weaknesses. One of the great ironies of being human is that others can often see us more clearly than we can see ourselves.

Become Willing to Succeed

Few people realize that what we want is also what we fear. If you're afraid of success, no matter how many "how-tos" of success you know, you still won't let yourself succeed. What could possibly be a drawback to succeeding? For one thing, you may have to face your fear of the unfamiliar or people being jealous of you. What if people expect you to do and be more than you think you can? Write down the pros and cons of success for you. Get the drawbacks and benefits to success down on paper and you can finally face and overcome your fears.

Establish Goal-Free Zones

Set a time and place where you don't do anything. This is vital because many of us are overwhelmed by our To-Do lists every day. In addition, people who starve themselves of success are literally addicted to goal setting, and feel incredibly guilt-tripped if they stop, even for a moment, to take time for themselves. I counsel my students to establish Goal-Free Zones, because this is the only way we can learn that the world won't end if we take time for ourselves. Astonishingly, this can be one of the hardest steps for people to take because of the overwhelming guilt they feel when they do something "selfish."

One of the greatest realizations of my life was that stopping myself from success not only wasn't helping others, it was actually hurting those I care about most. You can use the methods I've described to stop pushing away the success you want and deserve.

Emotional Freedom Techniques!

EFT may help you overcome psychological and emotional barriers that stand in the way of your success.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) can be applied to handle a wide range of emotional, psychological, and health issues -- including aspects of confusion and overwhelm. You can download a free EFT Manual from the Emotional Freedom Techniques website. (There are many more EFT videos on YouTube, including ones that demonstrate different versions of the technique. Google video search: learn eft.) You can learn the basic technique in a few minutes and start using it to handle issues, problems, and/or unwanted conditions in your life.

EFT - Learn in 5 Minutes!

Self-acceptance is most important. When applying EFT, you can use a phrase like: "I accept myself deeply and completely even though I (e.g., feel tired, frustrated, confused. apathetic, depressed, overwhelmed, helpless, angry, sad, lethargic, lazy, have a headache or other pain, have been procrastinating, or other issue being addressed)."

You can do before and after ratings on a scale of 0-10 to quantify your progress with whatever issue you address.

The Lefkoe Method

"I'm incompetent."
Morty Lefkoe on changing beliefs.

The Lefkoe Method is a powerful technique for removing limiting beliefs. Click Here to try it for free.

It may be possible to make major improvements to the Lefkoe Method. I suspect that many people, when they look at the method, say to themselves, "I don't need to do this." So we may want to include a technique to overcome denial.

Our improved techniques could start with EFT tapping and self-acceptance -- see Video on Self-Hatred. They could also end with EFT tapping to ensure that each negative belief has been completely erased.

We could also add an exercise for clients to write a longhand essay on their experiences with each negative belief.

We could add "afformations" for each process (as described by Noah St. John). We could also utilize "reverse affirmations" -- "You find me irresistable" rather than "I'm irresistable."

We can also employ "NLP Change Patterns" -- Google for more details.

At the end of each of the processes for erasing the negative beliefs, Lefkoe provides a process that could be called: "Become the Creator of Your Life." We could improve this process, by adding a "general external meaning destroyer" process. (For many people it would be a major breakthrough to realize that "meanings" are "things they created in their own heads.")

We could add a series of processes on personal power, as well as Robert Fritz's "Become the Creative Force of Your Life" -- Google for more details.

Our theme could be that your negative core beliefs can be regarded as a form of self-hatred. You may need to erase these beliefs before you can unleash your creative power.

We could add a process on overcoming "excessive negativity" in general. (Some "cautious negativity" is often appropriate.)

Lefkoe mentions "23 video modules to help break through the following beliefs and conditionings".

Google: negative core beliefs We can address a wider range of issues than Lefkoe does, including denial, self-sabotage, and "interference" (as described by Tim Gallwey in his Inner Game books). Also relevant: "Games People Play" and "Scripts People Live" (Transactional Analysis).

See Rational Recovery® website. It may be possible to adapt the The Mini Crash Course on Addictive Voice Recognition Technique® (AVRT®) to overcome anything you're "addicted" to, including procrastination, self-sabotage, bad habits, etc.

Similar improvements as suggested above for the Lefkoe Method could be made to AVRT®.

It may be possible for Project CertoPower to devlop MEAs that eventually enable millions of individuals to overcome their low-level awareness and become more aware of "political realities."

A few things could change for the better on this Earth if a few million people started waking up from their low-level awareness, and particularly to the nature of coercive political systems as reflected in the right column of Page 3!
